Clear Regional Report

Write for us

We welcome pitches that make regional geography easier to see: a strong question, a clearly bounded subject and an explanation of why it matters to readers interested in how places connect.

What we are looking for

Propose accessible, evergreen articles about landforms, routes, boundaries, place names or shared landscapes. A good piece might compare two ways to read a feature, explain a term through a clear example or show where a familiar map-based assumption falls short.

A useful pitch

Tell us the working title, the central idea, the likely category and what a reader will understand by the end. Keep the scope focused and explain how you would support factual claims. We prefer a distinct angle over a broad survey, and do not accept invented examples presented as real.

Sending a proposal

Send pitches through the Contact page, selecting the editorial question option and including your proposal in the message. Please do not send a complete draft unless it has been requested. Submission does not guarantee publication, and we will discuss any substantial editing with contributors.
